The page is blank today. Every word gone. That is not a loss, that is the finish line.
Say the whole verse out loud, slowly, start to finish, before you look at anything. This is the morning you find out it is already yours.
Then we do the best part: we take it off the shelf and use it.

🙌 CARRY IT OUT
A verse in your heart is a treasure. A verse you use is a tool. Two small, happy jobs today.
Job one: the verse before the phone. Tomorrow morning, before you open a single app, say this verse once. That is the entire assignment. Sixty seconds where the first voice of your day is God's. People who try this tell me the same thing: the whole morning tilts a little brighter.
Job two: give a "whosoever" away. Think of one person you love. Put their name inside the verse where "whosoever" sits. Then pray it over them, in your own words or in these:
Father, you loved first, before any of us moved. You gave your one and only, holding nothing back. I bring you (name). Let them look up and live, the way the promise says. And thank you that the everlasting part of my life has already started. Amen.
That is the whole day. Say it. Use it. Hand one away.
A verse becomes fully yours the first time it leaves your mouth for someone else's sake.
🔍 TODAY'S PHRASE
"...but have everlasting life."
The verse ends on its biggest word, and the biggest word is a gift word. Have. Not earn, not rent, not borrow. Have.
It is the last thing you say every time you speak this verse, which means every time, it ends on an upbeat. Try saying it out loud and landing gently on "life." The sentence is built to finish strong.
You will say this verse on ordinary days and extraordinary ones for the rest of your life. It will always end the same way. That is the point.
🕯️ WITNESS
John Newton spent his young life on slave ships. Cruel work, and by his own account he was the least likely man in England to be included in anything holy.
Then a storm nearly sank his ship, and the "whosoever" found him.
He spent the rest of his life as a pastor, fighting to end the very trade he had worked in. And one week, needing a song for his little church, he wrote down what had happened to him:
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.
The most sung song in the English language is one man's amazement that "whosoever" had room for him.
Yesterday a teenager in a snowstorm. Today a sailor in a storm at sea. The door in the verse you now carry is the same door they walked through. It has never once been shut.
